Starting Nov. 14, 2024, EmblemHealth members, except for those with the City of New York’s plans, will be subject to the Observation Stay Reimbursement policy that has been in effect for ConnectiCare members. Under the policy, we will not reimburse observation hours that are fewer than eight hours or more than 48 hours. These policies follow CMS guidance. See full policies:
