Farmington, CT (December 10, 2019) - ConnectiCare, one of the state’s leading health plans, recently opened their sixth ConnectiCare center at 64 North Main Street in Norwalk, CT. ConnectiCare centers  provide ConnectiCare members and the general public with in-person help selecting, understanding, and utilizing health insurance plans.

ConnectiCare opened its first center in 2016 in Manchester and is the only health plan in Connecticut with retail service locations.

“It’s important to understand your health plan so you  can make the right choices for you and your family, and  get the most out of your plan,” said Laurie Blier, Director of Retail Operations at ConnectiCare. “Our centers are especially helpful during open enrollment when people are choosing new health plans for the coming year. Visitors receive in-person service and personalized plan recommendations to accommodate their specific health needs.”

In addition to the Norwalk, there are ConnectiCare centers in Manchester, Waterbury, Bridgeport, Farmington, and Newington.

Medicare enrollment is taking place now through December 7 and individual plan enrollment is happening through December 15. Representatives at the six ConnectiCare centers are available for members and Connecticut residents to discuss the following:

  • Choosing the appropriate plan for individuals, families or those who qualify for Medicare
  • How to enroll in a new healthcare plan
  • Eligibility for financial help

The Norwalk center is open Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. For more information on the ConnectiCare centers, please visit https://chooseconnecticare.com/connecticare-centers or call 1-877-523-6837
